King of the Castle Rules

This is a simple-format competition for Level 12 Classes in Hero Realms Digital based on the game rules for King of the Mountain (King of the Castle). 

• The Queens or Kings of the Castle aim to hold it for as long as possible, defending it from a queue of challengers to set the record for longest win streak and hold the title of Longest Reign. 
• Challengers can try to take the Castle and start their own win streak by defeating the current Queen/King.
• Matches are held in a best of 5 set, are to be finished within 7 days, and should begin within 48 hours of the last challenge completion. If there are issues playing in that time frame, or any dispute, report this in the King of the Castle Discord Channel (or PM the Castle Stewards @jigmelingpa, @agentc13, or @dakatsesmeow).
• The challenger must send the first challenge. The King/Queen of the Castle accepts the challenge with any Level 12 class they choose. 
• In subsequent games in the best of 5 match, the Winner of the previous game initiates the challenge with a character they have not won with yet, and the Loser can accept the challenge with any Level 12 class they have not won with yet. So, if the challenger loses to the Queen/King, for the 2nd game the Queen/King will have to initiate the challenge, allowing the challenger to choose their class in response. The first player to win with three different classes wins the match and either defends the throne, or dethrones the king and takes the crown!

Anyone can sign up to join the queue of challengers for their shot at the title! When a King/Queen is defeated, the deposed royalty can join the challenger queue at the end of the list and try to regain their throne. 

– The top two players in line will be randomly sent to the respective portcullis for either Castle A or Castle B, where they will wait for the current challenge to complete before issuing their challenge to the sitting King or Queen. The challengers have 48 hours to issue their challenge to the King/Queen. The match should be completed in 7 days.

– When you arrive at the castle portcullis, have a Lvl 12 hero ready to challenge within 48 hours or be sent back one spot in line.

– If you need an extension on a challenge/match, discuss in the King of the Castle Discord. 

– Results must be reported in the King of the Castle Discord Channel. 

– The challengers to King/Queen will be notified in the Channel when they are sent to the portcullis.

– If a match is not completed in 7 days, or is progressing slowly, consult with the Castle Stewards.
